God,

We ask that you be a healer
To our brokenness
To our injured hearts
To our pain and trauma.

As we escape the harm,
The battleground between legalism and your truth,
We come with scars
Bruises
Deep wounds that require treatment and care

Surround us with healing
Individuals who know and understand
The space and care we require.
Let Spirit heal our stricken souls,
That we might find new hope and freedom

As we heal, let us also be available
To be a part of others’ healing process.
Let us lean in, to care deeply,
To express authentic empathy and understanding
To individuals whose pain is fresh,
To a community with shared experience.

Above all,
Let us find that you have created a space for all to be healed,
To find freedom
To find peace
