To They who know all the mysterious and unimaginable truths,

Help us to grow in wisdom
For we are often uninformed,
Unaware.
Unable to comprehend.

Yet, too often we oversell our own wisdom;
Claiming to know it all
Or at least more than others.
We build ourselves up
In an attempt to rise up and
Rise above.

Help us to not put ourselves on pedestals.
Rather, give us the humility to understand
That our knowledge is often skewed;
From a limited or biased viewpoint.

Let we who are men break free from male superiority to recognize that we have much to learn from those who have been
The victims of our systemic misogyny
Racism, and sexism.
Let us rather become wise through humility.

God, Help us to listen and to learn, that we might truly be wise.
Amen.
