God,
Which gives us freedom
Which demonstrates love

Allow this day to be a day
To process.
To pause and reflect on the emotions
And moments
That we haven’t yet fully unpacked.

Guide us with protection, for
Many of the things we have experienced
Have been hurtful
Emotional
Traumatic

Help us to express and release
To find safe spaces and safe individuals
To hear our stories
Our pain
And allow Spirit to speak through them to us.

Let us be able to do the same
To walk in community together
To listen more than speaking
To validate more than question.

As we process together,
Thank you for connecting us to community
That we might process and heal.
