God,

Our foundation,
You have shown us love.
You have shown us mercy.
You have given us faith.

Now, give us hope.

Hope that this new journey is in your favor.
Hope that those we encounter along the way
Would also be seeking authenticity in discovery.

Grant us pardon when we struggle.
Give us grace when we fall.
Provide us light when we’re in the shadows.

Above all,

Give us hope that we will find
Exactly what you want to reveal.
Hope that in the days ahead,

The struggle will become easier,
The journey one of eagerness
To discover what’s around the next bend.

God, show us your hope.
Jesus, reveal to us hope in you.
Spirit, plant hope in our souls.
