O, Creator,
Who walks alongside us
And lights our path,

We are on a road that leads away
From legalism,
From fundamentalism,
From sexism,
From racism,
From almost any and every -ism.

For many of us,
It has taken a long time to get to
This point in the journey.

But we hear you calling us
To trust in your slow work.

To believe that your way is more.
More welcoming.
More giving.
More freeing.
More accessible.

Sometimes, it is foggy, and we
Cannot see the full path ahead.

So,
Help us to trust in your guidance,
To encourage the others we meet on this path.
To hold hands with each other as we
Take the next step,
and then the next.

Until we find our destination,
